Label Pre/Post Production Runs - Blue Ribbon Tag & Label

Pre/Post Production Runs

Our mission is to produce the highest quality pressure sensitive labels at a competitive price and deliver them on time. To meet that goal, we offer a pre-production run of 100 labels at a minimal cost for you to see before the entire order is printed or also if you are able to come to our facility during the run for a press-proof at no charge. We wait for your approval before printing the entire order.

This exclusive service makes Blue Ribbon Label the most reliable and customer service oriented custom label printing company in business today.

Inspection / Rewind

When labels are printed, they are sent to our inspection / rewind area where three inspection processes occur:

  • Every label on every roll in inspected using digital “machine vision” technology.
  • Product labels are rewound in a format appropriate for how they are to be applied.
  • Each order is given a 100% accurate count.

Our meticulous inspection personnel thoroughly review each and every label for quality. Blue Ribbon Label’s reputation for excellence and accuracy is among the best in the industry.

To maintain our high level of quality, we have built in many levels of inspections. Using state-of-the-art Rotoflex and Web Techniques inspection equipment, labels pass through three inspection stations where strobe lights “freeze” every label so any imperfections are revealed. As an additional fail-safe measure, digital “machine vision” inspection stations make sure every label on every roll is perfect.

While your custom pressure sensitive labels are being inspected, they are rewound and prepared for shipping, which ensures your labels are delivered in a format compatible with your application equipment.

Stringing

Blue Ribbon Label is one of the largest producers of baggage and bottle neck hang tags in the nation. Our stringing department utilizes five specialized stringing machines, each of which can string up to 50,000 tags per day.

Warehousing

Our spacious air-conditioned storage facility has ample space to store an enormous variety of stock, so we are always ready to print your pressure sensitive labels at a moment’s notice. In most cases, when the order comes in, we are ready to go. We have “min-max” inventory systems in place with most of our material vendors, which means that all of our material (particularly ink and paper) is no more than 60 days old, guaranteeing consistency in the look and feel of your labels.
