This press is designed to offer services which include hot foil stamping,online silk screening, fold-out labels, coupon labels and most importantly, dramatically improve 4-color print quality. Digital Plate-Making In an attempt to stay at the cutting-edge of their field, Blue Ribbon Tag & Label established a digital plate-making department, one of the first of its kind in Florida. Digital plate-making allows the company to go right from the label design process directly to the computerized plate maker. This step eliminates the unnecessary lag time of traditional methods and increases overall plate creation accuracy. Digital plate-making also eliminates the need for costly film and chemicals and reduces the upfront cost to its customers. In addition, the digital process allows the “dot gain” to be computer manipulated to effect a better plate… thus a better label.
